3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Recipe
Homemade, healthy peanut butter recipe:
Whether we’d like to admit it or not, peanut butter is a childhood favorite, and cannot only be eaten straight from the jar (yum!) but added to smoothies or dipped with fruits and veggies to include a heart-healthy dose of good fats to your diet.
Unfortunately though, some of the store-bought peanut butter brands we grew up on are filled with hidden sugars, preservatives and hydrogenated fats.
Making your own at home ensures a healthier version of this treat. Below is a simple recipe I follow for most nut butters. Keep in mind; you can spruce things up by adding condiments like honey or cinnamon for a real flavor kick.

- 1 cup of raw, unsalted peanuts
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- 1/4 cup of coconut oil
- 1 pinch of sea salt
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend it on high speed until it forms a smooth, creamy paste. Allow it to cool down and refrigerate afterward for up to 2-3 weeks.
